A photographer is a messenger of truth – what is captured by me is a testament to reality without any cloaks, and without resorting to any tricks.
I have been shooting fashion, commercial, events, portraits, sports, food, nature, wildlife… there is no limit to what I shoot, because I can’t limit the unbridled joys brought forth by the connection established by my perspectives and what is offered to me at the outset. And yet, it is the streets – the everyday randomness of those filled with hustling people and bustling places – which inspire me the most to document the moments.
NYC Photo Project began in 2006, right after I arrived in this complex city of unbound diversity and human ethos that transcend boundaries of nationalities and religions; constructs of genders and races; parameters of economic classes and social identities.
